To Glorify God By Loving One Another
So That People Come To Know Jesus Christ Personally And Grow Together In Him

How can I go to Heaven?

The Bible teaches that God, our Heavenly Father, loves
all of us and wants to have a relationship with us but that
we are separated from God by our imperfections or sins.
Sins are attitudes, actions or words which are less than
thoughtful, helpful, considerate of others, or which are rude,
injurious, selfish, proud, impure, unkind or unwholesome
in some way.  Leaving undone or unsaid the good things we
know we should do or say also qualifies as sin.  All of us have sinned and fall short of God’s standard of perfection.  That is why Jesus died on the cross, to pay the penalty for our sins and to offer to us an opportunity to be reunited with God.  The Apostle Peter wrote:  Christ died for sins, once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.  (1 Peter 3:18)

Jesus offers each of us forgiveness, friendship, a place in God’s family and a home in heaven forever.  If we choose to accept His love and His leadership for our lives we will receive all of that and more.  Jesus also promised us His provision for our needs, His peace in all circumstances, His power to help us be all that we can be and His abiding presence through the Holy Spirit at all times.   If you want to accept Jesus’ offer of forgiveness and friendship and become a child of God, you can do so by saying prayer a like the following:

"Lord Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross for my sins.  I want Your forgiveness and I want You to be my friend.  I want Your love and leadership for my life.  Please forgive all my sins and give me the gift of eternal life.  I accept You and place my faith in You as my forgiver, friend, Saviour and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins, giving me eternal life, making me a child of God and promising to be my friend and never leave me.  Lead me, from this day forward, by Your loving presence and make me the kind of person You want me to be.”
If you have sincerely prayed that prayer, you have become a child of God, your sins are forgiven, you have a home in heaven and Jesus will be your friend forever and will help you become all you can be.
